"March brings breezes, loud and shrill, to stir the dancing daffodil" Spring is springing up all over the place and the month of March has plenty of cosy things to celebrate.
Dates for your Diary in March:
Being a Mum myself I have been sure to curate a collection of cosy gifts and accessories that I would love to receive myself. From scarves, snoods, fingerless gloves, to candles, wee signs and fabulous felt friends there is so much to choose from. And whilst it isn't all about the gifts, as a Mum spending time with my kids on this special day and feeling appreciated for all I do is everything. Added bonus is not having to cook, put on the washing machine or do any household chores is an added bonus (so kids and partners be sure to take note). Cosy ideas to spoil your Mum might be:
- Breakfast in bed
- Taking her to her favourite place to be
- Organise a pampering treat
- Giving her sometime to read her favourite book or watch a movie
- Run her a lovely bubble bath
- Cook her favourite food
- Enjoy her favourite sport, games or thing to do together (Park Run, Trivial Pursuit, shopping, site seeing, karaoke, dancing, roller skating)
- Cosiest of all - give her lots of hugs and kisses x
Also sending love and support to those, who for your own personal reasons, find Mother's Day hard. Find those cosy moments today instead to spoil and take care of yourself. Sending love and support your way and hope fond memories and happier times get you through.
Plus some fab cosy things to do this March are:
- Stop and smell the flowers
- Wear a green scarf on March 17th
- Wrap up in your cosy clothes and blankets and look up at the full moon on 25th March
- Go shopping at your local Farmer's Market for lots of lovely local produce
- Decorate the house for Easter
- Pop some spring flowers around the house
- Plan an Easter Egg hunt in the garden or around the house
- Spread happiness and treat a friend, work colleague or treat a stranger to a coffee or their shopping
