Ginger Mouse's Cosy Story:
Ginger was known throughout Mouseville for somehow always managing to get herself into a bit of a pickle. Yet this Christmas is wasn't the pickle jar that Ginger had decided to raid in the pantry of the Huge House on the Hill!!
When Ginger arrived at the Huge House on the Hill, as she looked through the window, she saw fairy lights, a Christmas tree with presents and a table full of the most amazing food. Ginger's nose began to twitch and her mouth was already watering. Next thing she knew she was scampering up through all the gaps and holes in the house and in no time at all she was on the table. There stood the most magical house of all...a house made of Gingerbread!
All of a sudden, Ginger felt the familiar vibrations of movement..."Humans!!" she squeaked. In her panic she knocked into the Gingerbread Man that was standing outside the Gingerbread House, "Oooo you'll do" squeaked Ginger and as fast as her little paws could carry her and her prize, she ran all the way back to Mouseville.
It was therefore rather a shock for Ginger's parents that evening, when there was a knock at their door and a Gingerbread Mouse was standing there in a little red hat "Merry Christmas!!" squeaked Ginger.
